Them bones, them bones…

#them bones them bones them dry-y-y bones…   *carries on singing in head*

or more precisely this…

Bones the TV Series, based on the books by Kathy Reichs

I have been spending the day re-watching season 3 so, I can start watching season 4, ready for when Season 5 arrives on DVD next month, and I can procrastinate some more by watching those :)

Avast me hearties!

Today’s method of procrastination.

Playing Words With Pirates

Made by the same people, it’s a hilarious twist on the Words with Friends format. It’s also extremely difficult as the only tiles you have to play with are A, R, G, H, Y and ! which makes creating acceptable words difficult.

Blue skies, golden sands & sunshine

Today’s method of procrastination? – Booking a holiday.

It’s been a whole day affair, involving a trip into town to pick up a tonne of brochures.  A two hour lunch in the pub while I peruse them all quietly and create a shortlist of destinations / hotels.  Followed by an afternoon and an evening scouring the interchoobs for the best deal.

Throw in a couple of hours ranting and frustration as the price / flight availability change by the minute, twenty minutes frantically searching for the debit card you know you had earlier, and all of a sudden you realise the day is gone.

You can however now look forward to 10 whole days away procrastinating under the Egyptian skies.

Here.

New shiny toys

Meet today’s new ‘shiny tat’ to keep me smiley for all of, oh, about the next week I should imagine…

It’s a 10.1″ Lenovo Ideapad.  Windows 7, Intel atom processor, 1gb of memory & a 250gb hard drive. It’s basically a netbook, but I’ve added Microsoft Office 2010 so I can use it for, ostensibly, writing, but well, we’ll see.  I’ve really got to stop procrastinating first.
