I am terrified of heights. So is my other half, and yet he still agreed to go on this ride with me on a cold and ridiculously windy Edinburgh day.
The look on his face as we stopped at the top was priceless. I just wish I’d been able to grab my camera to take a snapshot, but I was a tad too busy not looking down myself.
I seem to have spent more time in my car than anywhere else over the last couple of weeks. I’ve driven over 2,000 miles for work, been here, there and everywhere in the West Midlands, and had a day down in London.
Tomorrow I’m off to Scotland for a few days, it really is a good job I enjoy driving.

I’ve been sat watching the Fantastic Four again. Well, I say watching, what I’ve actually been doing for the last 106 minutes is trying to work out just how exactly The Thing has sex, and what might happen when he climaxes.
Not just the tools of a great magician, but also of a fantastic author.
It’s been a Hewson fest of books, the last few weeks, quite simply because the are so intricately plotted, and so finely written you can’t wait to dive into the next fabulous story.
I have some boards. I have days where I’m almost addicted, and days where I can leave it alone.
